Still residing in the enviable shadow of their fierce Merseyside rivals, Everton are a club that have struggled to level up from a football standpoint in the last few years.
Despite the managerial appointment of Carlo Ancelotti in 2019, the team haven’t been able to produce the sort of results that are worthy of a place among Europe’s elite in the Champions League.
However, their transfer dealings are fairly interesting to view from a fan perspective, as they are occasionally linked with some quality players.

Summary
To begin with, there haven’t been many amendments to this latest iteration of the guide on Everton transfer reliability.
Even though Marcel Brands is the club’s current sporting director, it looks as though the owner Farhad Moshiri still pulls the strings when it comes to defining transfer targets.
This translates into not much of anything changing with regard to journalists and media outlets moving up and down the tiers as the same decision making process is still largely in place, meaning that those in the loop continue to be informed before anyone else.
Therefore, original reporting from the Liverpool Echo is still considered trustworthy, particularly when it comes to Phil Kirkbride, David Prentice and Adam Jones.
And you can still look to Paul Joyce – who works for The Times – as a news source on Everton’s player acquisition targets.
Outside of the slight reshuffling in tier 1, the rest of the list remains largely intact, although any adjustments will be updated accordingly when the time comes.
