New director of football

Tottenham appointed a new director of football in Fabio Paratici.

As former Chief Football Officer for Italian side Juventus, the man boasts the experience and qualifications that are needed to bolster the London club’s recruitment.

This is a point worth noting as news on the club’s new acquisitions could come from a handful of different sources due to the fact that Paratici now holds the keys to Tottenham’s transfer strategy.

So I’ll be keeping an eye out for changes here in the upcoming transfer windows as the way information gets dispersed could change course due to his appointment.

 

Changelog

There’s been quite a few changes to Tottenham’s transfer reliability rankings since the last time I updated it.

For starters, Alasdair Gold has ascended to the top tier of reporters for Tottenham (moving from tier 2 to tier 1) after proving to have very reliable contacts within the club on a vast number of separate occasions.

As a writer for the football.london website, pretty much any information that he releases can be considered as close to gospel as possible.

In fact I’d even go as far as saying that you only need to keep tabs on what he says as he’s more or less a spokesperson for the club and his reliability is almost unquestionable on the basis of how what he says comes to fruition.

On the other hand, there are quite a few journalists from the Athletic and Sky Sports who have been added to tier 2. The list of these is as follows:

  • Jack-Pitt Brooke
  • Charlie Eccleshare
  • Lyall Thomas

Now that you can see which journalists and media outlets are present under Tottenham’s classification, there’s something that I think would be of interest to you.
